IN general, every athlete has his own recipe for his fitness, with a wide variety of vitamins and drink that will keep his stamina collected until the end of the exercise. However, did you? It turns out honey can be fuel for the sportsman. How did it happen?

We all know that carbohydrates ingested before, during, and after exercise to improve the performance of athletes and speed recovery. Honey is a natural source of carbohydrates whose each spoon containing 17 grams of carbohydrates.

The unique composition of carbohydrates in honey is a perfect dish before exercise. The results, issued a medical journal said that the low-glycemic carbohydrate levels in honey reduces the risk of hypoglycemia during exercise. Not only that, glycemic availability is assured during exercise.
